Cybercrime: How to Protect Against It (New York)


BDPA New York is the 2nd largest chapter in the nation. The chapter offers remarkable monthly program meetings. The May 2008 program meeting topic is 'Cybercrime: How To Protect Against It'.

The guest speaker is Ron Clement, who is the President of Information Security Concepts, an information security consulting & security awareness firm. Ron has spent the last 20 years in information technology industry with recent focus on information security. He has consulted with large enterprises, including Microsoft, Accenture, Time Warner Cable, NCR, Wachovia, Bank of America, Department of Defense and Estee Lauder Companies. Also, he has worked at educational institutions such as Central Piedmont Community College, where he held the position of Program Chair of Network Administration, New Horizons, and Tech-Train. He has traveled all over the country teaching CISSP boot camps and other security training.
