BDPA Charlotte chapter has been working its Student IT Education & Scholarship (SITES) program very hard in 2015. The chapter has introduced middle school and high school students to the concepts of information technology and professional development. Students participate in training sessions that entail creating dynamic web sites using ASP.Net and use of common HTML tags for text formatting. An emphasis has been placed on the .NetC programming language for implementing application logic and connecting to external resources such as databases. Professional development includes business etiquette, speech and exploration of careers in technology.
