4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. 4-H is a non-formal educational, youth development program offered to individuals age 5 and in Kindergarten to 19. Youth are involved in hands-on, experiential learning that allows learning by doing. All 4-H programs focus on active involvement and quality experiences which stimulate lifelong learning of values and skills.It turns out that there are 4-H Foundations in virtually every state in the union. Many of them give out scholarships for youth education programs, such as SITES. BETF is willing to explore the option with any BDPA chapter in need of funding for their 2009 SITES program.
