Use BDPA to Advance Your Career (Washington DC)

African Americans in the technology industry have been hit hard by corporate mergers, offshore outsouring, H1-B visa immigrants and the failing economy. Are you a BDPA member that is worried about your future within the IT industry because of these major trends? Have you considered how your BDPA membership can benefit your future within the IT industry? If you answered YES to either one of those questions, then BDPA Washington DC chapter has the program meeting for you!

The special guest speaker is Mr. Wayne Hicks, BETF Executive Director and former National BDPA President. Wayne has been a BDPA leader for over 20 years. He believes that BDPA exists to advance the careers of African Americans in the information technology industry from 'the classroom to the boardroom'. If this mission statement resonates with you ... then you need to make plans to attend this program meeting.

  • BDPA? What's In It For Me?
  • Tips on networking within BDPA
