National BDPA Awards Program

BDPA New York Wins 'Chapter of the Year' Award (2011)
The National BDPA Awards Program provides a means to recognize individual chapters and members for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the mission and objectives of the National organization.

It would be wonderful to have most, if not all, of the 45 local BDPA chapters tracking their metrics and accomplishments against these objective standards. It's not about the award ... it is about doing the right things for the right reasons. Please take a moment to review the 2011 criteria.

There are great BDPA members doing God's work in 45 cities around the nation. Isn't it time that we document your accomplishments? Here are the past winners of our BDPA Chapter of the Year Award (with the chapter president in parenthesis):
I hope that current BDPA leaders will download the 2011 awards program criteria. I also would love to fill in the unknown chapter presidents who led these winning efforts in the past. Can you help in either case?

Finally, I notice that chapter can get points in the awards program for making donations of at least $100 to a nonprofit organization. Might I suggest that all 45 chapters consider making those points with an online donation to the BDPA Education & Technology Foundation!
