Message from Washington DC Chapter President


BDPA's Washington, D.C. Chapter (BDPA-DC) congratulates National BDPA's 2010 High School Computer Competition (HSCC) team from Southern Minnesota (BDPA SMN) for successfully defended their National HSCC Title for the fourth year in a row!

BDPA 's Washington, D.C. 2010 Regional Champions (in above photo) finished second place during the 2010 National HSCC. Students from the top five teams in the United States will receive scholarships toward their college education in STEM related fields of study from the BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF). This year's top five teams are: BDPA Southern Minnesota, BDPA Washington, D.C., BDPA Chicago, BDPA Detroit, and BDPA St. Louis.

All three of the D.C. chapter's high school seniors, Herring, Nunez, and Thomas, will be attending HBCUs this fall.
