BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) learned that our $10,000 grant proposal submitted to Chichester duPont Foundation has been declined. The grant was submitted on behalf of BDPA Chicago chapter.
The grant declination letter read as follows:
Dear Mr. Hicks:
Thank you for your correspondence and grant request dated May 25, 2010. Due to the extremely large number of deserving and competitive applications received, the Foundation was unable to award a grant for your organization this year.

We will continue to seek out funding opportunities for BDPA. We're very open to any suggestions that you might have on ways that we might improve our fundraising efforts.
