Sherman-Standard Register Foundation

Standard Register has been active in giving back to the communities in which they serve (through charitable contributions, volunteer involvement and other giving programs) since their inception in 1912. Today, the company actively supports many community programs through their Community Contributions Council and the Sherman Standard Register Foundation.

The Community Contributions Council is comprised of a group of Standard Register associates who meet monthly to review requests from 501(c)(3) organizations. The mission of the council is to support non-profit health and human services organizations that focus on the needs of children and youth at risk, emphasizing help for those with an economically or socially disadvantaged background.

Requests must be submitted in writing to:

The Community Contributions Council
600 Albany Street
Dayton, OH 45408

The Sherman Standard Register Foundation was established in 1957 to support worthy causes in those communities where the company has a significant presence. The foundation promotes or aids charitable programs, institutions and activities with particular emphasis on those serving children, youth and disadvantaged persons in connection with education and social service needs.

In addition to these two groups, many Standard Register associates, in locations throughout the United States, are involved in volunteering their time to various causes in their local communities.

Standard Register is proud of its employees who give generously of their time and energy to support various organizations working to improve the quality of life in their hometowns.
