Grant Declination: American Honda Foundation

BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) made a valiant effort to obtain funding from the American Honda Foundation in support of the Student Information Technology Education & Scholarship (SITES) program. Unfortunately, our request for funding was declined.

The declination letter read as follows:

Dear Mr. Hicks,

While the American Honda Foundation recognizes that there is a broad range of organizations worthy of support, budget limitations and policy necessitate a focus on those with the broadest national interest and support and, therefore, the highest potential for success. Obviously, we receive many more requests for support from worthwhile organizations than we can possibly fund each quarter.

Regrettably, your program entitled, Student Information Technology Education & Scholarship, was not chosen for funding.

Alexandra Warnier, Manager
American Honda Foundation

BETF is very appreciative of American Honda Foundation for the support that they provided to us a couple of years ago. We will continue to reach out to various funding sources around the nation because we know that we doing God's work with the young people in our community.
