Grant Declination: Chichester duPont Foundation (BDPA New York)

BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) partnered with BDPA New York to submit a grant proposal to the Chichester duPont Foundation seeking $22,654 funding for the chapter's Student Information Technology Education & Scholarship (SITES) program. We learned today that our grant request has been denied.

The declination letter read as follows:

Dear Mr. Hicks:

Thank you for your correspondence and grant request. Unfortunately, your organization's geographic location lies outside of our perimeter of giving. Accordingly, we respectively request that you not seek future funding from our Foundation. Consistent with our policy of reducing our administrative costs, we will no longer provide letters of denial.

Please accept our best wishes for your organization's future success.

Sincerely,
Gregory F. Fields
Secretary

We will continue to seek out funding on behalf of BDPA New York chapter. You can help! Please consider making a secure online donation to provide college scholarships for the young people in the New York educational programs.
