2014 National BDPA High School Computer Competition (HSCC) Rankings

The 2014 National BDPA High School Computer Competition (HSCC) championships were held in Indianapolis. We had 18 teams competing in 2014. The two-day competition was fierce and we had a new champion from Washington DC! The 2014 HSCC Champion were from BDPA Washington DC and they earned HP laptops and a $2,000 Dr. Jesse Bemley Scholarship for attending college. They beat out the scrappy team from BDPA Greater Columbia and the perennial high-ranking team from BDPA Southern Minnesota.

The winning team from Washington DC included Lauren Battle, Beleicia Bullock, Zion Emanuel, Johnathan Legrant and Alex Li.

Here are the rankings for all 18 teams that competed in 2014 national HSCC championships with the scholarship winnings for each student in parenthesis:

1. Washington DC ($2,000 Bemley Scholarship for each student)
