Nii Narku Quaynor Wins Postel Award


BDPA Education & Technology Foundation congratulates Dr Nii Narku Quaynor, Chief Executive Officer of Network Computer Systems (NCS), for being the first African to receive the John B Postel Award at the just-ended Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) meeting in Vancouver, Canada.

Dr Quaynor is one of the most prominent and distinguished Ghanaian icons and achievers known for his selfless, exceptional and professional dedication towards development in the area of ICT in Ghana. Dr Nii Narku Quaynor is a Fellow of the Ghana National Honorary Awards of Fame. His efforts resulted in great strides not only in the technical community but in the other disciplines as well. It is important to underscore his great work as one of the pioneers also of the building of institutions for the knowledge economy in Africa such as AfriNIC.
