It appears that this funding source would only be useful for BDPA if your chapter has Cardinal Health employees that are active with BDPA. Does this apply to your chapter?

Personal Career Advancement (Columbus)

BDPA Columbus is the 17th largest chapter in the nation. The chapter works hard to advance the careers of African Americans in the information technology industry from 'the classroom to the boardroom'. One way to live out that mission is to conduct relevant monthly program meetings.

The chapter's April 2008 program meeting will feature David Montgomery, Vice President at Cardinal Health. Mr. Montgomery will talk on the topic, 'Personal Career Advancement'. In fact, he plans to have a number of Cardinal Health IT senior managers and human resource professionals in attendance. The only thing missing is BDPA members and supporters from the central Ohio area showing up in the audience on Thursday night!

Here are the logistics for the meeting:

Date: Thursday, April 24, 2008
Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Where: Cardinal Health World Headquarters
Dublin, OH

The event is free. Refreshments will be served. Please contact Cecil Jones by email or phone (614.736-1100) to reserve your seat at this program meeting.
