Top 10 BDPA Chapters (May 2009, Membership)

There are 51 BDPA chapters in the nation. Each chapter averages 55 members (up 1 from last month).

Congratulations to BDPA Philadelphia chapter (president, Monique Berry) for setting a new chapter record for membership this month ... breaking their previous high of 193 (Mar 2009) breaking their chapter an all-time record high in chapter membership this past month.

It is also worth noting that BDPA Triangle chapter (president, Rick Leggett) jumped from 14th place (Mar 2009) to 4th place (Apr 2009). The chapter also broke their previous high membership total of 118 (Jun 2008). It appears that this chapter is taking advantage of being host of 2009 national conference.

The top ten chapters in terms of membership as of 5/1/2009 are:
  1. Chicago
  2. Philadelphia - (all-time chapter record high, 196 members)
  3. Richmond
  4. Triangle - (jumped 10 places this month; all-time chapter record high, 147 members)
  5. Atlanta - (dropped 1 place this month)
  6. Washington DC - (dropped 1 place this month)
  7. New York - (dropped 1 place this month)
  8. Cincinnati - (dropped 1 place this month)
  9. New Jersey
  10. Detroit - (dropped 2 places this month)
Seven of these chapters are in the BDPA Century Club with at least 100 members. These large chapters are located in various regions of the country - 3 in the Midwest, 4 in the Northeast and 3 in the Southeast.
BDPA Education & Technology Foundation provides funding to support these programs and services at local level. Our hope is that you will consider making a donation to BETF this year. You can securely donate online or you can give BETF a call on (513) 284-4968 to discuss your pledge offline.
