Abbott Employee Giving Campaign

BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) is very happy to be recipient of the generosity from employees at Abbott Labororatories.

Giving back is an essential part of Abbott's culture, and their employees' generosity mirrors that of their company. Abbott employees contribute more than $12.6 million annually through their Employee Giving Campaign and Matching Grant program, and these donations were matched by $4.6 million in contributions from the Abbott Fund. At a time when employee giving campaigns at most large corporations experienced diminished participation, employee participation in the Employee Giving Campaign rose to 73 percent from 65 percent the previous year.

Our hope is that the number of Abbott employees that choose to support BDPA programs and services via payroll deduction will continue to increase. Are there any Abbott employees in your local chapter?

We continue to receive quarterly donations via employee giving at Abbott Labs. Currently, we only have one employee (Milt Haynes) taking advantage of payroll deductions to support our efforts. Don't we have other BDPA members who work at Abbott Labs?

We processed the 3rd quarter donation from the Abbott Laboratories Employee Giving Campaign today. Currently, we only have one Abbott associate (Milt Haynes) taking advantage of payroll pledges through this annual giving campaign.

I hope that other Abbott Labs employees will join Milt in making payroll pledges to BETF...

All - We are pleased to report that past national BDPA president Milt Haynes continues to lead by example. We have been informed by the folks at the Abbott Employee Giving Campaign that Milt renewed his payroll pledge in support of the BDPA Chicago chapter fund. Well done Milt!

Who's got 'next' at Abbott Labs?

All - Kudos to Milt Haynes (Abbott Labs). We just processed the 1st quarter payroll deduction payment from Abbott Lab's employee giving campaign. It represents payments from payroll deductions made over the past 3 months by BDPA Chicago member Milt Haynes.

The donated funds will be used to support the BDPA Chicago HSCC Scholarship Fund project.

Our hope is that other Abbott employees will take part in the annual employee giving campaign in the future.
