Message from Los Angeles Chapter President

John Malonson
Dear Members,

Tired of wondering which platform is the BEST? We finally settle the argument! Whether you have a smart phone, tablet, or are in the market for one; we invite you to join us for this month's program meeting, 'Apple iOS vs. Google Android: Mobility Smackdown' taking place on Tuesday, May 3, 2011.

Each month we celebrate the talents and services of our most exceptional members. This month, we recognize Temitope Sonuyi, our High School Computer Competition Lead Instructor.

Temitope has always been interested in creating things in general. Various influences lead him to MIT where he graduated with a masters and bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. During that time he interned at Microsoft, Qualcomm and the MIT MediaLab. After graduating Temitope worked as a developer for a startup where he developed a lot of his web development skills. He has since started a personal software consulting and development company, which is what he continues to do to this day. Temitope focuses on consulting with the creation and implementation of ideas for software applications.

Temitope, for all of your hard work and commitment to student excellence, BDPA Los Angeles chapter THANKS YOU!

We need your help!  We are in need of High School Computer Competition technical and administrative volunteers. If you or someone you know possesses skill and talent in any of the following key areas, please contact info@bdpala.org
  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • General classroom coordination and administration

Be sure to check us out everywhere on the web:
Sincerely,
John C. Malonson III, President
