The BDPA Foundation approved $2,500 grant to BDPA Richmond chapter on April 27, 2008. The funding helps to cover some of the expenses for the chapter's 2008 Computer Technology Quiz Bowl that takes place on May 24, 2008.
BDPA Richmond is 3rd largest chapter in the nation. The fundraising team in Richmond actively solicits funds via the United Way, employee giving campaigns and other fundraisers. In fact, the primary source of funds used to cover this $2,500 grant came from payroll deductions made via the United Way. This chapter routinely reaches out to its large membership to request funding support.
