Sam Walton Community Scholarship
Each operating Wal-Mart Store, SAM'S CLUB and Walmart's grocery stores are eligible to award one $3,000 scholarships to qualifying local high school seniors.
Students must be graduating high school seniors and must not be an Associate of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., or be the child/dependent of an Associate of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. This award is used for the student's freshman year tuition, books, fees and on-campus room and board at an approved, accredited U.S. college or university. [Read More]

Thanks Sam Walton for giving back to the community -- it is amazing to find the number of private scholarships that are available. The task may be tedious, however, financially rewarding. Start early, and reap the rewards.
