For clarity, the program is extremely competitive and specifically geared to US college students who plan to graduate in Fall 2011 or Spring 2012. The program is a deep-dive into P&G with access to Senior Level Leadership, exposure to IT employees, an opportunity to complete an IT business case study, interview training and an interview, to determine eligibility for Summer 2011 internship. P&G's promote from within policy would give those students who have completed a successful Summer 2011 internship a huge advantage to be considered for employment upon graduation.
As for eligibility, we typically chose from the following majors, but have been open to other technology majors as well:
- Students pursuing a BS in or MS in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math/Statistics or Operations Research.
My advice for selection is to take the online application and screener VERY SERIOUSLY.
Applications are viewed based on scoring, and from my perspective, some people just don't spend enough time or effort on this part of the application process.
