BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) partnered with BDPA Greater Birmingham chapter (president, LaDonna Crum) to submit a $5,000 grant proposal to the Regions Bank Community Foundation. BDPA Greater Birmingham was named 2014 Developing Chapter of the Year at our 36th Annual BDPA Technology Conference held earlier this year in Indianapolis, Indiana. We learned today that our grant proposal has been denied by Regions Bank.
The declination read as follows:
Dear Mr. Hicks:
Thank you for submitting a proposal for funding to Regions Bank. However worthy we found your request to be, we must decline based upon previous charitable commitments.
We wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Ann Forney

BETF will continue to work with the leadership team of our BDPA Greater Birmingham chapter to find the funding that they will need to implement their programs, scholarships and services. You can help! Please make a secure online donation in support of the BDPA Greater Birmingham Scholarship Program.
