Our primary goals in 2012:
- Obtain strength and influence by increasing membership base.
- Enhance funding to support our youth programs while expanding professional education and development programs for adult members.
- Define and communicate a compelling, clear and concise value proposition.
- Establish strategic partnerships that are mutually beneficial.
Over the next 90 days, we will launch several key initiatives and programs in accordance with our 2012 goals, they include:
- Monthly webinars (informational and educational)
- iPad2 contest
- Creation of a professional development support program (Success Alliance)
- Annual career fair
- Membership drive
We also established a 501c3 education foundation called Next Level Technology Foundation. It was established in 2011 to directly support the programs and services of BDPA Atlanta, which include the HSCC student program and educational and professional workshops for IT, professionals and the local community. It also provides a tax-deductible way for donors to contribute to our organization.
We are looking forward to expanding the BDPA Atlanta brand, growing our membership, and providing a value proposition to our members and stakeholders.
I invite you to join us and get involved with Building and Growing a Stronger BDPA!
Felicia Jones, president
BDPA Atlanta Chapter
