Happy New Year BDPA Dallas!

I’m excited about the new year and would like to share my letter to the organization as the President of the Dallas Chapter of BDPA.

This year, our focus will be on “Energizing Tomorrows Future”.

Our primary goals in 2012:

1. Enhance our youth programs while expanding professional education and development programs for adult members
2. Engage current members and increase membership base
3. Connect with similar organizations that are mutually beneficial
4. Secure funding for our youth programs

In preparation for this years task, we will initiate primary initiatives over the next few months that are in accordance with our 2012 goals. These initiatives include:

• Partnering with existing Technology Camps (Urban League)
• Membership drive
• Youth Technology Week
• Webinars

Our monthly meetings and other social and community activities provide an excellent opportunity for our members to network with professionals from various corporations and organizations. This year, we will be expanding the number of social events to allow even more opportunities for networking.

We are energized and ready to start the new year with a bang by inviting you to get involved with “Energizing Tomorrows Future”.
