Top 10 BDPA Chapters (Membership)

There are 50 BDPA chapters in the nation. Each chapter averages 50 members. The top ten chapters in terms of membership as of 1/1/2009 (with their progress since last year in parenthesis) are:

1. Chicago - (no change)
2. Richmond - (up 1)
3. Philadelphia - (up 3)
4. Washington DC - (up 1)
5. Atlanta - (up 2)
6. New York - (down 4)
7. Triangle - (up 9)
8. Detroit - (no change)
9. Cincinnati - (down 5)
10. New Jersey - (up 3)

Members flock to chapters with strong programs and services. One of the common denominators for the 10 chapters listed above is that they each offer strong program meetings, chapter newsletters and Student IT Education & Scholarship (SITES) programs. In fact, many of the participants in the BDPA IT Institute come from these 10 chapters.
