F.B. Heron Foundation

The F.B. Heron Foundation seeks to fund direct-service, community-based organizations and enterprises. The Heron Foundation uses their funding to help low-income people to create wealth and take control of their lives through:

• increasing access to capital
• supporting enterprise development
• advancing home ownership
• reducing the barriers to full participation in the economy by providing quality child care
• employing comprehensive community development approaches with a strong focus on the wealth-creation strategies noted above
